"Artwork Requirements" 

Imprint quality on your order depends upon the artwork supplied with it. To avoid delays and possible art charges, please supply clean camera-ready artwork. If art needs to be touched up or modified, additional charges may apply. In most cases, we can modify your artwork at no cost. 

All electronic art should be sent to info@avspecs.com 

Film or paper artwork should be mail as soon as possible to:

CAMERA-READY ART GUIDELINES (Non-Electronic Art)

Black & white line art on flat photographic paper. 
600 dpi (or higher) laser prints, preferable at 100% of final size. Glossy, fine grain paper works better than matte copier paper. ALL camera-ready art supplied with halftones should be "to-size" at 65 line screen Artwork for multi-color imprints: MUST send black & white color-separated art with registration marks for each color. Always include a color composite. 

UNACCEPTABLE ARTWORK/TEXT FILES: 

Electronic art such as .bmp, .jpg or tiff usually produce images with jagged edges and distorted features. These type of files are not recommended. In some cases, we may be able to convert these type files into acceptable art. Please call us before sending these types of files.

Faxes, copies of faxes, photocopies, photographs,
slides, transparencies, negative stats or films that need to be reversed to positive, halftone art that needs to be resized, low resolution laser printed artwork of less than 600 dpi, letterhead, business cards, actual product or any other art that needs to be touched-up, color separated or made one color. 

REQUESTS FOR ARTWORK ON FILE:

Artwork is kept on file for approximately 2 years.  Re-orders must contain a previous AvSpecs Invoice # plus a copy of the artwork to ensure the correct artwork is pulled for the re-order.
