Goldstar is your full color custom graphics company specializing in four-color process writing instruments, stationery, drinkware and more.

Our goal is to make your business experience with Goldstar as pleasant, professional and profitable as possible by providing superior quality products backed with attentive and reliable customer service.
 

Prices and policies effective:
January 1 - December 31, 2009

ARTWORK
For fastest service and accuracy, please e-mail or send art on PC or Mac
disk (Zip, CD, or Floppy). We strongly encourage high resolution images
with minimum 300 dpi/150 lpi in the following formats: Freehand,
Photoshop, or Illustrator. We can accept Corel Draw and Acrobat PDF
files, but this may delay processing.

One-color and multi-color imprints require black and white cameraready
art, a PMS color breakdown, or digital art. Files con
taining text
must include fonts or text converted to paths.
Art must be sized to approximate imprint area for best results. Faxed or
reproduced artwork cannot be reproduced. Artwork will be returned
upon request. Art for repeat orders is kept on file by purchase order
number for 12 months.

Special Note: Process color is the blending of four primary colors that
provide a wide array of pleasing colors as in print advertising such as
magazine ads. Since they are not comprised of pigments, process colors
provide an approximate pleasing color match, but not an exact PMS
match. PMS color references will be converted to process colors known
as CMYK. A Pantone Process Color Imaging Guide can be used to
reference similar CMYK values.

DESIGN CHARGES
Custom artwork created or modified by our Art Department will be
billed at $83(c). Any customer changes to artwork will be billed an
additional $83(c) setup. The customer will be contacted prior to order
processing when additional charges apply. Straight line copy or color
changes will be billed $8.50(c).

DROP SHIPMENTS
Multiple drop shipments after first address charged $17.00(c). Minimum
$100.00 order per location.

ORDERS
Orders and artwork can be sent to Goldstar (ASI 73295, PPAI 114031,
UPIC GOLD0009, SAGE 57190, PPAC 990121) via Email, Fax, or US mail,
or artwork can be submitted separately with distributor's PO number
referenced. Goldstar is not responsible for typographical or handwritten
errors on distributor's order.

ORDER CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS
Our goal is to have orders to production within 24 hours of approval.
Change requests or cancellations after production begins will be
charged for any production costs incurred plus a cancellation fee of
$100.00(A) when appropriate. Straight line copy or color changes will be
charged $10.00(A).

RUSH CHARGE
A rush charge of 10% or $25.00, whichever is greater, will be added if
product is to be delivered in less than standard quoted lead times.

PACKAGING
All product ships bulk to minimize shipping costs unless otherwise
specified. Multiple carton shipments of same product may vary slightly

from published quantities. However, total shipment will match packing
list count. Custom inner cartons with exact count available at additional
cost. See "Packaging" on page 77 for details.

PROOFS
First virtual or paper proof available at no charge by requesting it on
your PO (please allow 2 working days). Changes thereafter are charged
at $12.50 (g) per change. Pre-production proofs are $18.75 (g) plus
shipping. Virtual sample proofs not available on calendar or planner
products.

RETURN & ADJUSTMENT POLICY
Distributor must contact Customer Service within 60 days of product
receipt before any action for authorization. All returns requiring pickup
will need a Return Authorization number issued by Customer Service
to be valid. Defective items will be immediately replaced upon receipt
of sample of item so proper corrective action and adjustments can be
made. All adjustments must be made 60 days from ship date.

SAMPLES
First virtual sample FREE, Additional virtuals: $31.25(v).
FREE Random imprinted samples available by request in reasonable
quantities.
Unprinted "Stock," Laser, and Self-Promotional samples available at EQP
in published product minimums.
Custom spec samples available at Sales Manager's discretion

SHIPPING
Orders ship FOB Shelbyville, TN unless otherwise stated. Select
Calendars, Laser items, Magnets, and Flashlights ship FOB San Diego.
All orders ship best way at customer's expense unless specified. UPS
standard carrier. Overnight, 2-Day, and 3-Day shipping will be billed at
customer's expense. Liability for goods passes to customer upon
delivery to carrier. In an effort to ensure our quoted turnaround times,
we will upgrade your shipping method at our expense, when we
determine necessary to meet distributor purchase order event date.
We do not recommend USPS, due to lack of tracking ability unless it's
insured at distributor's request and customer's expense.

TURNAROUND TIME
Production turnaround time begins AFTER graphics, credit, order
entry, and proof approval (if requested). Turnaround time varies with
custom order quantities greater than 10,000, and will be quoted at time
of receipt of approvals. Select Stock Product: Shipped in 3 business days.
Stock Product: Shipped in 5 business days. Custom Product: Shipped in
7 business days.

RESALE POLICY
The Goldstar line is only sold through approved resale promotional
channels. For distribution inquiries, please contact ASI, PPAI, or PPPC
headquarters for assistance.

Due to final quality control, orders may be shipped plus or minus 5% of
quantity ordered. Our factory is unable to ship "overruns" to distributor.
However, reasonable additional quantities may be ordered as "product
proofs" and charged accordingly. For exact count, add $0.02(A).
