Should you Embroider or Screenprint?
Here are a few factors to consider:
Is this for a large volume order? Screen printing is definately more economical when you have thousands of pieces to produce.
What's the budget? Embroidery is the more expensive option per piece, partly because of the greater set up and digitizing costs up front.
Does a high-end image matter? Go with embroidery. It creates an upscale look.
How intricate is the artwork? Logos that have very small lettering or minute detail can be reproduced more faithfully with screen printing.
What type of fabric will be imprinted? Embroidery requires a substrate thick enough to withstand the process. Denim and heavy twill and beefier cottons are great choices. If the fabric is lightweight, go with screenprinting.
