If your products are not showing up doing simple keyword searches, then those keywords are not found in the product name, number or description.
 
The information entered for the product name, number and description in the Main Info tab is what makes your product "searchable" in DistributorCentral. Be sure to use strong, relevant keywords and descriptions for your products. This will ensure that your products will be easily found when searched for in DistributorCentral (see example below).





Quickly View The Display Status Of Your Products
Here's how to quickly see which of your products are active and displaying on DistributorCentral.
• Go to the Products menu in your account 
• Select Add/Edit Products
• Click on the Product Display Status link on at the bottom right side of the page (see image below)

Other Tips For Product Descriptions
Make sure your copy is End User friendly. Your products (with retail pricing) will be displaying on 1000's of DistributorCentral hosted websites. Also, make sure your products, options, and choices are named in an understandable way. Consumers are not familiar with Promotional Products terminology so the suppliers who write the best consumer copy tend to get there products ordered more.

The Top Keywords and Categories List
We display the top 250 keywords searched for and the top 250 categories that are browsed for in DistributorCentral and on our Distributor websites.

To access this list:
• Login to your DC account
• From the Shortcuts menu on the opening page, click on the Top Keywords & Categories link

Setup Your Own Test Distributor Account
You can setup your own test distributor account to get a full understanding of how distributors find your products and to even place orders to yourself.

To do this:
• Login to your DC account
• Go to the Distributors menu
• Select the Add New Distributor link
• Fill out the form accordingly making sure to select "Send Login Information Now" and then click on Submit
