HOW TO CONVERT FONTS TO OUTLINES |
When you create a layout using Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, Quark or Indesign, you are using fonts that are loaded locally in your PC or Mac. In order to avoid font problems, you should convert the file and convert the fonts to outlines (called vector EPS objects).
If you are using Quark or Indesign, export the page as an EPS and open the EPS file in Illustrator or Freehand and convert the fonts to outline. If you have no idea about what we are talking about here, just send us the file and we will figure out how to solve the potential problem.
To convert fonts to outlines using Adobe Illustrator:
- Select all texts (Ctrl+A on PC or Option +A on Mac)
- On the top menu select Type > Create Outlines
- Save file as EPS or AI.
- Done
